Same Old World

The sun still rises in the east,
And sets in the west,
We sleep in the night,
And wake up in the morning,
Liars, murderers and cheats,
Are still in business,
Beggars are still hungry,
Refugees still have no home,
There is still not enough money to go round,
The rich are grabbing for more,
The poor?
Still the same sorry lot,
Wars are still been fought,
Humanity continues to struggle,
And lose the great battle for survival,
So what has changed?
It's still the same old world
